The Joy Offensive is excited to launch
An Introduction to Playwriting
It’s not “the” introduction.
Just one of many possible introductions.
Join Jules Orcullo on a 10-week tour of ‘the elements of craft’ for for writers beginning to write plays.
The program is rooted in values transparency - demystifying unspoken theatrical and artistic values that govern contemporary text-based drama in the English speaking world. By the program's end, participants should have a deeper understanding of their form, appreciation of their distinct approaches, and tools for building inclusive, respectful artistic communities.
An Introduction to Playwriting produced in partnership with Inner West Council as part of the Cultural Connections Program.
